Classical Guitar Strings for classical guitars are usually made from nylon. These are designed for classical guitars and will not suit an acoustic guitar which has metal strings.
There are 2 gauges of classical guitar strings, Normal Tension and High Tension. High tension strings give a crisp, sharp sound, where normal tension gives a more mellow, rounded tone.
