About Us

Guitarbitz.com was created in early 2004 by me, James Oliver and Davin Kenwood to cater for the UK’s 3 million guitarists.

I wanted to create a guitar shop on the Internet that could cater for guitar players of all levels, but with particular help for beginners and intermediate players, with clear product descriptions and photographs, easy navigation and no techno babble!

I vowed that customer service would be my top priority, so I can concentrate all of my efforts on you.

We have come a long way in these 4 years, but have always had dedicated mail order facilities and large stocks of all our key products. We also now a have a brand new shop, opened in the Autumn of 2007, giving you the opportunity to visit us and try out our large range of guitars, amplifiers and accessories.

Here’s what we do for you,

· All guitars and guitar accessories shown on the site are in stock and ready for dispatch, unless marked as ‘call us’, in which case you won’t be able to buy them. This means you will not have to wait days or weeks for your goods, orders made before 4pm on a working day are sent that day for delivery to you the next working day.

· We use an overnight courier for guitars and amplifiers, Interlink Express, who have proved to be extremely reliable. They do not normally deliver on a weekend, but we can arrange for you this at a small extra cost.

· VAT and all shipping charges are included in our prices, there are never any hidden extras.

· We tune ALL guitars and check them for problems, damage or playability issues before dispatch. We want your guitar to be in top form when you get it so you can start enjoying it straight away.

· ALL of our products are brand new and boxed from the UK's top musical instrument suppliers, these are some of the best known branded guitars around, so you know you'll be getting a popular, well known instrument with a good reputation. We refuse to sell seconds, catalogue returns, unbranded goods and, of course, damaged stuff.

· ALL of our guitars and amps are covered by at least a 1 year manufacturers warranty, if anything goes wrong, we promise do our best to help get it sorted.

Our Premises

In the summer of 2007 we moved into new premises, giving us considerably more storage space, leaving room to expand into new brands and products, and allowing us to hold larger stocks of our most popular products. We have a brand new shop open 10-4 weekdays with loads of free parking right outside.

Not all of our stock is on display, we'd need a huge shop for that, but we can quickly get anything out of our adjoining warehouse for you.

How to find us

We are located in Unit C5 of Commerce Park, a new business park 3 miles to the North East of Frome in Somerset.

From the A36 Bath to Warminster road, take the A361, signposted Frome, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury. At the first roundabout turn left, following the A361. Commerce Park is on your right at the next roundabout.

As Commerce Park is a relatively new built estate, it may not show up on any Satellite Navigation system.

Fantastic service guys. I received my son's new guitar case on Saturday morning, the day after paying for it online. In comparison to most sites I've used to order online the process was straightforward and quick to use, and I really did receive the case the next day.
It's terrible that I should be surprised by this, but I've had so many bad experiences buying stuff online that this seems like the first time I've got what I expected when I expected it. I'll definitely be using your site if I have to buy any more guitar stuff.
